GoHighLevel WordPress Hosting: Is It Worth It?

GoHighLevel WordPress hosting is worth it if you already pay for GoHighLevel and want a real WordPress site, because $10 a month gets you managed hosting with daily backups, free SSL and a Cloudflare CDN, with your forms and chat tied into the CRM. It is not worth it if you do not use GoHighLevel, because the hosting sits on top of a plan that starts at $97 a month, or if you only need a simple lead site, because GoHighLevel's own site builder is included in every plan. We checked every price and feature below on GoHighLevel's WordPress page and help docs on 18 October 2026.

  • What it is: managed WordPress hosting you buy and run from inside GoHighLevel.
  • Price: $10 a month for 1 site, $220 for 25 sites, $497 for unlimited sites. Paying yearly drops these to $9, $208 and $414 a month.
  • The catch: it is an add-on. One site on the Starter plan is really $107 a month.
  • Good for: GoHighLevel users who need WordPress plugins or a big blog, and agencies hosting many client sites.
  • Skip it if: you do not use GoHighLevel, or a few pages and a booking form are all you need.

Does GoHighLevel host WordPress websites?

Yes. GoHighLevel sells managed WordPress hosting as an add-on, and you create and run the sites from the Sites tab in your account. GoHighLevel's guide to setting up WordPress hosting (modified 10 September 2026, checked 18 October 2026) gives the steps:

  1. Buy the WordPress hosting add-on.
  2. In the Sites tab, click "+ Create Site".
  3. Start from scratch, from a template, or clone a site you already have.
  4. Enter the site name and the admin user details.
  5. Wait 2 to 5 minutes while it installs.

GoHighLevel puts its LeadConnector plugin on every new hosted site for you. That plugin is what links the site to your CRM. Once the site is up, a setup guide walks you through the rest: connect your domain and SSL through Cloudflare, turn on security logs, set user roles, and switch on uptime monitoring.

It is real WordPress, not a look-alike. You open the normal WordPress admin from your dashboard, add themes and plugins, and get staging, FTP and a file manager. GoHighLevel's help center has a guide for each of those.

How much does GoHighLevel WordPress hosting cost?

GoHighLevel WordPress hosting costs $10 a month for one site, on top of your GoHighLevel plan. These are the plans on GoHighLevel's WordPress page (gohighlevel.com/wordpress), checked 18 October 2026:

PlanSitesStorageMonthlyPaid yearly, per month
Standard112 GB for the site$10$9
Utility2560 GB shared$220$208
UnlimitedUnlimited500 GB shared$497$414

The page says the price is "in addition to cost of a HighLevel subscription", with no contract. GoHighLevel's WordPress hosting specs article (modified 9 July 2026) does the sum for you: the Starter plan at $97 plus Standard hosting at $10 is $107 a month. GoHighLevel's pricing page lists Starter at $97, Unlimited at $297 and Agency Pro at $497 a month (checked 18 October 2026).

One thing to watch: the WordPress page also mentions "up to 20GB of storage" in one section, which does not match the 12 GB on the plan cards. Go by the plan cards and the help article, which both say 12 GB. If you run out, GoHighLevel sells a disk space add-on.

Not on GoHighLevel yet? Our special link gets you a 30-day free trial of GoHighLevel (we may earn a commission from this link) plus a free live bootcamp. Sign up on GoHighLevel's own site and you get the standard 14 days, with no bootcamp. The hosting add-on is a separate charge from the plan, so check your billing before you build a site you plan to keep. Our GoHighLevel pricing guide covers the plans and every usage fee.

Can agencies resell GoHighLevel WordPress hosting?

Yes. GoHighLevel's reselling guide (modified 10 September 2026) says agencies can offer the hosting "to clients at a price they set." The agency pays HighLevel its plan price. The client clicks Activate WordPress in their sub-account and pays the agency's price through the agency's Stripe account. You can also host a client's site and cover the cost yourself.

What do you get with GoHighLevel WordPress hosting?

You get managed WordPress with backups, a CDN, SSL and staging on every plan, including the $10 one. Here is the full list from GoHighLevel's WordPress page and specs article, checked 18 October 2026:

FeatureWhat GoHighLevel says
CDNCloudflare Enterprise CDN
BackupsDaily, with one-click restore, going back up to 30 days. Manual backups too
SSLFree
StagingYes
BandwidthUnmetered, "subject to fair usage policies"
VisitorsUnlimited
PHP workersUnlimited
ServerLinux VPS, PHP 5.6 to 8.4, MySQL 8
Uptime99.99% uptime guarantee
SecuritySSL, firewalls, threat defense and 24/7 monitoring
SupportA 24/7 dedicated support channel

The help center also has guides for choosing the country your server is in, an uptime monitor, SEO and performance reports, a search and replace tool, and an AI page builder. For a $10 plan, that is a solid list. Most of it is what you would expect from any decent managed WordPress host.

The weak spot is history. Backups only go back 30 days. If someone breaks the site and nobody notices for five weeks, the daily backups will not save you. Keep your own copy every month.

The $10 plan gets the same backups, CDN and SSL as the $497 plan. You pay more for more sites and more storage.

How does GoHighLevel WordPress hosting connect to the CRM?

Through the LeadConnector plugin, which GoHighLevel installs on every hosted site. GoHighLevel's LeadConnector plugin guide (modified 9 July 2026) lists what it does:

  • Chat widget: turn on your CRM's chat widget with one setting. Chats land in your Conversations tab.
  • Forms, surveys and calendars: add them to any page or post with WordPress blocks or shortcodes. Every entry goes into the CRM.
  • Funnel pages: show funnel steps as normal WordPress pages.
  • Custom values: pull your business details from the CRM into the page with a shortcode.

So a lead who fills in a form on your WordPress site becomes a contact in GoHighLevel, and your workflows can text or email them straight away. That is the main reason to keep WordPress and GoHighLevel side by side.

Can you use GoHighLevel with WordPress hosted somewhere else?

Yes. The same LeadConnector plugin works on a WordPress site hosted outside GoHighLevel. The plugin guide says that for a site "hosted outside of our platform," you install the plugin from the WordPress plugin directory and sign in to your CRM.

This matters for the "is it worth it" question. The CRM link is not something you only get with GoHighLevel hosting. You can keep your current host, add the plugin, and get the same chat widget, forms and calendars. The hosting add-on saves you a step and a second bill. It does not add anything the plugin cannot do elsewhere.

How do you move an existing WordPress site to GoHighLevel?

You move it with GoHighLevel's LC Migrator plugin, or agencies can ask GoHighLevel's team to do it. GoHighLevel's migration guide (modified 9 July 2026, checked 18 October 2026) gives two ways:

LC Migrator pluginWhite-Glove migration
Who does itYouGoHighLevel's migration team
Who can use itAnyone with admin access to the old siteAgency users only
HowInstall the plugin on the old site, pick the new site in the CRM, click "Start migration"Install the plugin, make a secure access link, send it in a request
How longDepends on the site. No file size limit"Most transfers finish within one to three business days"

A few things to know before you start. Only an agency admin can start the first setup, not a sub-account user. If a migration fails, the alert shows in the agency view, and the client is not told. Everything you import counts toward your storage. And the same domain cannot be live in two places at once, so point the domain at the new site only when it is ready. DNS changes can take a few hours to spread.

GoHighLevel WordPress hosting vs the site builder vs a normal host: which should you pick?

Pick GoHighLevel WordPress hosting if you need WordPress and already use GoHighLevel, the site builder for a simple lead site, and a normal host if you do not use GoHighLevel or need a host built around big WordPress sites. Here is how the three compare:

For most small service businesses on GoHighLevel, the site builder is enough, and it costs nothing extra. Our GoHighLevel website builder review covers what it can and cannot do, and our GoHighLevel landing page guide shows how to build pages in it.

WordPress earns its place when the site is mostly a blog, or when you rely on a plugin GoHighLevel has no match for. Then the $10 hosting keeps it all under one login.

For a big online shop or a site with heavy traffic, we would pick a host whose whole business is WordPress, such as WP Engine, and connect it to GoHighLevel with the plugin. That is the one case where we think a specialist host beats GoHighLevel's hosting.

For what it is worth, we moved our own site, havstock.com, off GoHighLevel's builder and onto Cloudflare in September 2026. We kept GoHighLevel for everything behind the site: the CRM, the forms and the follow-up. That split works well when the website is a big part of how you get found.

What are the pros and cons of GoHighLevel WordPress hosting?

The pros are price, one login and the CRM plugin already in place. The cons are that it only makes sense if you pay for GoHighLevel, and a few limits on storage and backups.

Pros

  • $10 a month for a managed site with daily backups, staging, free SSL and a Cloudflare Enterprise CDN.
  • One bill and one login for your site and your CRM.
  • The LeadConnector plugin comes installed, so forms and chat go into the CRM from day one.
  • Agencies can host 25 sites for $220 a month and resell them at their own price.
  • A self-serve migration plugin, plus a done-for-you move for agencies.

Cons

  • It is an add-on. Without a GoHighLevel plan from $97 a month, you cannot use it.
  • 12 GB per site on the Standard plan, and the WordPress page shows a second, different storage number.
  • Backups go back 30 days only.
  • The CRM link is not exclusive. The same plugin works on any WordPress host.
  • Migrations start from the agency view. If an agency set up your account, you have to ask them.

Is GoHighLevel WordPress hosting worth it?

Yes, if you already pay for GoHighLevel and you need WordPress. At $10 a month for a managed site, it is cheap, and it saves you a second host, a second bill and a plugin install.

It is a strong deal for agencies. The Utility plan works out at $8.80 a site if you fill all 25, and you set the price your clients pay.

It is not worth it if you do not use GoHighLevel. You would pay at least $107 a month for hosting you can get elsewhere. And if your site is a few pages to catch leads, use the site builder you already pay for. A website that brings in leads is less about the host and more about the pages, the offer and the follow-up. Our guide to turning a website into a lead generation machine covers that part.

If you want to test it, start a 30-day free trial with our special link, then build one site from a template and check the speed, the backups and the plugin before you move anything real.

GoHighLevel is the tool. Someone still has to do the work: pick the platform, build the pages, write the words, connect the forms and keep it all updated. We build sites on GoHighLevel, WordPress and other hosts as part of our websites and funnels work. If you would rather hand that over, see how Havstock Unlimited works.

FAQ

Does GoHighLevel host WordPress sites?

Yes. GoHighLevel sells managed WordPress hosting as an add-on. You create sites from the Sites tab, from scratch, a template or a clone, and they install in 2 to 5 minutes. Each site comes with daily backups, staging, free SSL and a Cloudflare CDN, and the LeadConnector plugin that links it to your CRM.

How much is GoHighLevel WordPress hosting?

$10 a month for one site, $220 a month for 25 sites, or $497 a month for unlimited sites. Paying yearly brings those down to $9, $208 and $414 a month. All three are on top of a GoHighLevel plan, which starts at $97 a month. Prices were checked on 18 October 2026.

Is WordPress hosting included in GoHighLevel plans?

No. GoHighLevel's pricing page lists WordPress hosting as an add-on that "Starts at $10/month per site." What every plan does include is GoHighLevel's own website and funnel builder. So you can build a website without paying anything extra, as long as you do not need WordPress itself.

Do I need GoHighLevel hosting to use the LeadConnector WordPress plugin?

No. GoHighLevel's plugin guide says you can install the LeadConnector plugin on a WordPress site hosted somewhere else. Get it from the WordPress plugin directory, sign in to your CRM, and you can add the chat widget, forms, surveys and calendars. On GoHighLevel hosting it comes installed for you.

Can I move my existing WordPress site to GoHighLevel?

Yes. Use the LC Migrator plugin to move it yourself, with no file size limit. Agency users can also ask for a White-Glove migration, which GoHighLevel says most often finishes in one to three business days. Only an agency admin can start the first setup, and imported files count toward your storage.

How much storage do you get with GoHighLevel WordPress hosting?

12 GB for the site on the $10 Standard plan, 60 GB shared across 25 sites on Utility, and 500 GB shared across all sites on Unlimited. Bandwidth is unmetered under a fair usage policy. If you need more space, GoHighLevel offers a disk space add-on.

GoHighLevel WordPress hosting is a good deal for one group: people who already pay for GoHighLevel and need WordPress. For them, $10 a month buys a managed site with backups, a CDN and the CRM plugin ready to go. Everyone else should use the site builder they already pay for, or keep their current host and add the plugin.
