Electrician marketing, on subscription.

Ads, your website and follow-up that turns quotes into jobs.

Loved by founders and service businesses
The problem

Many electricians send good quotes and never hear back.

A homeowner wants a panel upgrade before they buy an electric car. They ask three electricians for a quote. Two send one, and neither gets in touch again. The homeowner gets busy, and the job goes to whoever checked in a second time, or it waits a year.

For most electrical contractors, the leak is not the ads. It is everything around them:

  • Calls ring out while you are on a job with your hands in a panel.
  • Quotes for big jobs go out, and nobody follows up.
  • Emergency calls and planned projects land on the same homepage.
  • Happy customers are never asked for a review.
  • Nobody can say which ads paid for themselves.

Good electrician marketing fixes the whole chain: get found, answer fast, follow up every quote, and see what it earned. That is what we run for you, as an electrician marketing agency you pay one flat monthly fee.

What you get

Everything an electrical contractor needs, in one plan.

Example requests

What an electrical contractor could ask us for.

Requested
Build a landing page for EV charger installs, with a quote form.
Set up Google Ads for panel upgrades in our three best towns.
Follow up every quote a few days after we send it.
In progress
Turn on a text that goes out when we miss a call.
Make a page for each town we cover.
In review
Send a review request by text after every job.
Write an email to past customers about generator servicing.
Done
Add our licence number to the website footer and every ad.
Add a chat to the site that books an estimate.
Show us which ads brought in paid jobs last month.

One request at a time, about 48 hours each. A full website arrives in pieces every few days until it is done.

Guide

Electrician marketing guide.

Where jobs come from

Electrician marketing: where the jobs come from

Electrician marketing means showing up where people look when they need electrical work, then making it easy to book. Most jobs come in through a handful of places, and each one needs different work.

Google search and Google Maps

When the power goes out in half the house, people type "electrician near me" and call one of the first names on the map. A complete Google Business Profile, fresh reviews and a page for each service help you show up there.

Google Ads and Local Services Ads

Search ads let you choose the jobs and the towns, so you can push panel upgrades or EV chargers over small service calls. Local Services Ads charge per lead instead of per click, and Google verifies your business first.

Builders, property managers and repeat clients

Commercial and repeat work often comes from people who hire you again and again. A clear commercial page and an easy way to ask for a quote make you simple to recommend.

Lead sites

Lead sites can fill a slow week, but the same lead may go to several electricians at once. If you are weighing one, read is Thumbtack worth it first.

AI answers

More people ask ChatGPT or Google's AI who to call for electrical work. Those tools lean on your website, your reviews and your other listings. Here is how to get recommended by ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews.

Urgent vs planned

Emergency calls and planned projects need different marketing

A breaker that will not reset at 9pm and a panel upgrade next month are two different buyers. Each one needs its own path to you.

Emergency calls

are about speed. The person may have no power in half the house and no idea why. What matters: showing up at the top of Google, a call button at the top of the page, a fast reply, and clear words on whether you take calls after hours.

Planned projects

are about trust and timing. Panel upgrades, EV chargers, generators, rewiring and lighting get compared. What matters: a page for each job, photos of your work, reviews, a quote form that asks the right questions, and follow-up after every quote.

Search ads and Local Services Ads suit the urgent work. Job pages, reviews, email and quote follow-up suit the planned work. Meta ads can help with planned jobs in your area, like EV chargers or generators. They rarely help with a breaker that won't reset tonight.

Quotes

Big electrical jobs are won in the follow-up

On a big job, the homeowner rarely decides the day the quote arrives. They get busy, they compare, they wait. The electrician who checks in at the right time stays in the running.

So we set up follow-up that runs on its own:

A text after the quote

A few days after it goes out, asking if they have any questions.

A second check-in

A week or so later, with a short answer to a common question about that job.

Reminders for booked jobs

A text the day before, so nobody forgets you are coming.

A review ask when the job is done

Every customer, every time.

Every quote and where it stands sits in your CRM, so you can see what is still open at a glance. Missed calls get a text back from your number too. Here is how missed call text back works.

Job pages

A page for every job you want more of

A page for each kind of job does two things. It helps Google match you to the exact search, like "EV charger installation" plus your town. And it answers a customer's first questions about that job before they call.

The jobs most worth a page are the ones you want more of and do well:

Panel upgrades

Often needed before an EV charger, a heat pump or a remodel.

EV charger installation

What the install involves, and whether the panel can take it.

Generators

Standby units, hookups and servicing.

Lighting and ceiling fans

Smaller jobs, but steady work and a good first job for a new customer.

Commercial work

Its own page, if you do it, so property managers and builders can find you.

Only build pages for work you are licensed for and want. A page for a job you turn down brings calls you cannot take. For how these pages, town pages and your Google profile work together, see electrician SEO.

Ad rules

Licence numbers, scope and what your ads can say

Electrical work is licensed, and your state may set rules for how you advertise. In California, for example, the Contractors State License Board says licensed contractors must include their license number in all forms of advertising (CSLB advertising guidelines). Rules differ from state to state.

So we build that into the work:

  • Your licence number goes on your site and ads wherever your state asks for it.
  • Ads only offer work you are licensed to do.
  • Offers and prices are ones you can honour.
  • Nothing goes live until you sign off.

We are not lawyers, and we do not give advice on licensing or permit rules. You know your state's rules, and the final say on every word is yours.

What to measure

What an electrical contractor should track each month

Track quotes and booked jobs, not clicks. These are the numbers that tell you if your marketing works:

Calls, chats and forms by source

Where each lead came from.

Quotes sent and won

How many quotes became booked jobs, by type of job.

Cost per booked job

Ad spend divided by jobs, for each channel.

Missed calls

How many went unanswered, and how many came back after the text.

New reviews per month

A quick check that the review asks go out.

Every lead lands in your CRM with its source attached, and you get a monthly report on leads, bookings and cost per lead.

FAQ

Questions. Answered.

How much does electrician marketing cost?

Ours is $4,995 USD a month, flat. That covers ads, your website, the CRM, quote follow-up, SEO and AI chat. There is no setup fee and no contract. Ad spend is paid to Google or Meta directly. Usage fees for texts, emails and AI chat are also yours. They are small, and they go on a card you keep on file. See full pricing.

Do you run Local Services Ads for electricians?

Yes, where Google offers them for electricians in your area. Google verifies your business first, and we help you through that. Then we manage the ads and your profile. You pay Google per lead.

Can you answer our phones?

No. Our AI chat answers on your website and by text, and missed call text back replies to anyone whose call you miss. If you want a person on every call, add an answering service. We compared the options in answering services for contractors.

Will you put our licence number on our ads?

Yes, wherever your state asks for it and anywhere else you want it. You give us the number and check each ad before it runs. We do not advise on licensing rules.

Have you worked with electricians before?

Not yet. We work with service businesses, coaches and training providers, and the reviews on this page come from them. What we bring to electrical work is the system: get found, answer fast, follow up every quote.

Do I own the website and the ad accounts?

Yes. Your site, your ads and your data are yours. If you leave, they stay with you.

Is there a contract?

No. It is month to month and you can cancel anytime. Try it for a week, and if you are not happy, get 75% back.

What don't you do?

Filming, photo shoots, video editing, print, vehicle wraps and organic social posting.
