Pest control marketing, on subscription.

Ads, your website and follow-up that turns one-off jobs into plans.

Loved by founders and service businesses
The problem

Many pest control companies win the first job and lose the plan.

A homeowner finds mice in the kitchen and calls three companies. One picks up, sends a tech, sets traps and seals the gap behind the stove. Job done. Six months later the mice are back, and the homeowner calls someone new, because nobody ever offered them a plan.

The steady money in pest control is in repeat visits. But most marketing only chases the first call:

  • Calls go to voicemail while techs are in crawl spaces and attics.
  • One-time customers are never offered a service plan.
  • Plan customers get no reminder, so techs drive to empty houses.
  • Happy customers are never asked for a review.
  • Nobody can say which ad brought in plan customers and which brought one-off jobs.

Good pest control marketing does two jobs. It brings in the urgent call, then it turns that customer into a plan. That is what we run for you, as a pest control marketing agency you pay one flat monthly fee.

What you get

Everything a pest control company needs, in one plan.

Example requests

Requested
Build a landing page for mouse and rat jobs, with a call button at the top.
Set up Google Ads for termite inspections in our best zip codes.
Send a service plan offer a few days after every one-time treatment.
In progress
Text plan customers two days before their next visit.
Write a spring email to past customers about ants.
In review
Make a page for each town on our routes.
Send a review request by text after every visit.
Done
Clean up our Google Business Profile and list every pest we treat.
Add a chat to the site that books an inspection.
Show us how many one-time customers moved onto a plan last month.

We take one request at a time, and each takes about 48 hours. A full website comes in pieces every few days until it is done.

Guide

Pest control marketing guide.

Where customers come from

Pest control marketing: where new customers come from

Pest control marketing means being the company people find, call and trust when they spot a pest, and the one they stay with after. Most new customers reach you through a few doors online, and each one needs different work.

Google search and Google Maps

Someone sees a mouse or a wasp nest and types "exterminator near me". They look at the map, check the stars and call one of the first names. A complete Google Business Profile, steady reviews and a page for each pest you treat help you show up there.

Google Ads and Local Services Ads

Search ads let you pick the pests, the jobs and the areas you want, so you can push termite or rodent work and skip what you don't do. Local Services Ads charge per lead, not per click, and Google checks your business before they run.

Lead sites and directories

Some lead sites send the same customer to more than one company, so you race to call first. They can fill a slow week. Few owners want to rely on them. We looked at one of the big ones in our Angi leads review.

Referrals and neighbours

Pests rarely stop at one house. When a neighbour has the same problem, a happy customer who names you beats any ad. Reviews and a simple referral ask make that happen more often.

AI answers

More people ask ChatGPT or Google's AI which pest control company to call. Those tools pull from your site, your reviews and your listings on other sites. We set out the steps in how to get recommended by ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews.

Urgent vs planned

Urgent pests and planned service need different marketing

A wasp nest by the front door and a quarterly plan are two different sales. Market them the same way and you lose one of them.

Urgent jobs

are about speed and trust. The homeowner wants someone out today, and wants to know what you will use in their home. What matters: showing up at the top of Google, a call button they can tap with one thumb, a fast reply, and plain words on what happens at the visit.

Planned service

is about value. Service plans, termite inspections and prevention work get compared. What matters: plan options explained simply, reviews, photos of real work, and a follow-up after every quote. If you share prices or price ranges, put them where people can find them.

So a good plan runs search ads and Local Services Ads for the urgent work, and pages, reviews and email for the planned work. Meta ads can help sell plans in your area before a busy season. They are a poor fit for someone with a wasp nest right now.

Service plans

Turning one-time treatments into service plans

The easiest service plan to sell is to a customer you just helped. They have met your tech, seen the result and still remember the problem. Most companies never ask them.

We set up the steps so the ask happens every time:

A plan offer after every one-time job

A text and an email a few days after the treatment, with your plan options and one way to sign up.

A second nudge before the next season

A customer who said no in winter may say yes when the ants show up.

Visit reminders

Plan customers get a text before each visit, so fewer visits are missed.

A review ask after the visit

Every customer, every time, not only the happy ones.

You see every customer in your CRM: who is on a plan, who was offered one, and who has not heard from you in a year. Missed calls get a text back from your number too. Here is how missed call text back works.

The season

Plan the year before the busy season starts

Pest work rises and falls with the weather, and the busy months in your area come round every year. The marketing for them should be ready before the first call, not after it.

What we line up ahead of each season:

Pages for the pests of that season

Ants, mosquitoes, wasps or rodents, one page each, live and found by Google before people start searching.

Emails and texts to past customers

A short note before the season starts, with your plan offer.

Ads ready to switch on

Campaigns built in the quiet months, so they go live the day you need them.

Your Google profile brought up to date

Seasonal services listed, and new photos from recent jobs.

Your own job history is the best guide to which months matter. We read it from your CRM, so the plan fits your area and your pests, not someone else's.

Ad rules

What pest control ads can and can't say

Pest control ads need care with safety words. EPA's label rules treat claims like "safe", "harmless" and "nontoxic to humans and pets" as false or misleading on a pesticide label, even with "when used as directed" added (EPA Label Review Manual, chapter 12). Your state may have its own rules on what pest control companies can say, too.

So we write your ads and pages with that in mind:

  • No "safe for kids and pets" lines. We say what you do instead: where you treat, and what the customer should do before the visit.
  • Your licence number goes on ads and pages where your state asks for it.
  • No promise that a pest will never come back, unless your written guarantee says so.
  • Nothing goes live until you sign off.

We are not lawyers or regulators, and we do not give advice on pesticide rules. You know your state's rules, and the final say on every word is yours.

What to measure

The numbers that show your marketing works

Judge your marketing by booked treatments and signed plans, not clicks. These are the numbers worth watching each month:

Calls, chats and forms by source

Which ad, page or listing each lead came from.

Cost per booked treatment

Ad spend divided by jobs, for each channel.

Plan sign-ups

How many one-time customers moved onto a plan.

Missed visits

Plan visits that did not happen, and why.

New reviews each month

A quick check that the review asks are going out.

Every lead lands in your CRM with its source, and you get a monthly report on leads, bookings and cost per lead. If search is your biggest gap, our page on pest control SEO goes deeper.

FAQ

Questions. Answered.

How much does pest control marketing cost?

Ours is $4,995 USD a month, flat. That covers ads, your website, the CRM, plan follow-up, SEO and AI chat. There is no setup fee and no contract. Ad spend is paid to Google or Meta directly. Usage fees for texts, emails and AI chat are also yours. They are small, and they go on a card you keep on file. See full pricing.

Can you help us sell more service plans?

Yes. That is the heart of how we set up pest control marketing. Every one-time customer gets a plan offer, and another before the next season. We will not promise a number of sign-ups. You will see them in the CRM every month.

Do you run Local Services Ads for pest control?

Yes, where Google offers them for your trade and area. Google checks your business first, and we help you through that. Then we manage the ads and your profile. You pay Google per lead.

Can you answer our phones?

No. Our AI chat answers on your website and by text, and missed call text back replies to anyone whose call you miss. If you want a person on every call, add an answering service. We compared the options for trades in answering services for contractors.

Have you worked with pest control companies before?

Not yet. We work with service businesses, coaches and training providers, and the reviews on this page come from them. What we bring to pest control is the system: get found, answer fast, follow up, and offer the plan.

Do I own the website and the ad accounts?

Yes. Your site, your ads and your data are yours. If you leave, they stay with you.

Is there a contract?

No. It is month to month and you can cancel anytime. Try it for a week, and if you are not happy, get 75% back.

What don't you do?

Filming, photo shoots, video editing, print, door hangers and organic social posting. Your techs take the job photos and send them to us.
