Houzz Pro pricing starts at $99 a month for the Design plan, $199 a month for Pro, and from $399 a month for Teams, with advertising from $499 a month on top. Most paid plans are 12-month contracts, so the number to compare is the yearly cost, not the monthly one. This guide shows what each plan includes, how the contract works, and who each plan suits. All prices are from Houzz's US pricing page, checked 12 October 2026.
The short answer
Houzz Pro costs $99 a month for Design, $199 a month for Pro, or from $399 a month for Teams. Advertising starts at $499 a month, and you ask Houzz for a quote. There is a free plan and a 30-day free trial. Most paid plans are 12-month contracts, so even Design comes to about $1,188 a year.
How much does Houzz Pro cost in 2026?
Houzz Pro costs $99, $199 or from $399 a month, plus advertising from $499 a month if you want it. Here is every option from Houzz's Houzz Pro pricing page, checked 12 October 2026:
| Plan | Price shown | Users | A year on a 12-month contract (our maths) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free plan | $0, no credit card | Not stated | $0 |
| Design | $99 a month | 1 user | $1,188 |
| Pro | $199 a month | 1 user | $2,388 |
| Teams | Starting at $399 a month | Unlimited users | From $4,788 |
| Advertising package | Starting at $499 a month, "Get Pricing" | Add-on | From $5,988 if it runs a full year (contract length not published) |
Extra users on Design and Pro cost $50 a user a month. The page also has a footnote: "Additional charges may apply based on selected add-ons."
The yearly column is our own maths: the monthly price times 12. Your real figure is in the Pro Services Agreement Houzz emails you when you sign up. These are US prices. If you are outside the US, check your own country's Houzz site.
Read Houzz Pro as a yearly price. A $99 plan on a 12-month contract is a $1,188 decision.
What do you get on each Houzz Pro plan?
Each plan adds tools on top of the one below it. Design is for showing clients ideas. Pro adds the tools for running a build. Teams adds unlimited users and marketing.
Design: $99 a month
Houzz calls Design "essential features for managing your studio and impressing your clients." It includes one user and these top features:
- 3D floor plans
- Selections
- Product Clipper and Library
- Mood boards
- CRM
- Estimates and proposals
- Invoices and online payments
The comparison table on the same page shows 5 product-to-3D conversions a month on Design.
Pro: $199 a month
Pro has everything in Design, plus the tools for running a job from bid to finish:
- Takeoffs and bid management
- Change orders and budget management
- Contracts
- Project schedule and daily logs
- Gusto integration (in beta)
Pro also comes with one user, and the same 5 product-to-3D conversions a month.
Teams: from $399 a month
Teams is everything in Pro, with unlimited users. It adds:
- AI note-taking
- Premium Profile
- Email marketing
- A custom website
- Front Desk and Verified Caller (both in beta)
- Dedicated support
Teams also gets unlimited product-to-3D conversions, with a fair use limit of 415 a month. Houzz marks Teams "Best value". The price says "starting at", so ask what your team would pay before you assume $399.
Is there a free version of Houzz Pro?
Yes. Houzz Pro has a free plan and a separate 30-day free trial of the paid plans.
The free plan includes the 3D Floor Planner, estimates and invoicing. Houzz says no credit card is needed. It is a fair way to see if you like the estimate and invoice tools before you pay for anything.
The 30-day trial is different. Houzz's FAQ says you can cancel any time during the trial "before your annual subscription begins at the end of the free trial." So if you do nothing, the trial turns into a yearly plan. Set a reminder for day 25.
Is Houzz Pro a 12-month contract?
For most plans, yes. Houzz's help article on how to cancel your Houzz Pro subscription (checked 12 October 2026) says "most of our plans are annual 12-month contracts." Here is what that means for leaving:
| When you want out | What Houzz's help center says |
|---|---|
| During the 30-day free trial | Cancel on the device you signed up on, before the yearly plan starts. |
| Within 7 days after the trial ends | A 7-day grace period. You pay for one month, keep access for that month, and do not pay the rest of the yearly contract. |
| In the middle of a contract | "You will not be able to cancel early." Houzz points you to your Customer Success Manager or support. |
| At renewal | Send a do-not-auto-renew request at least 30 days before your renewal date. You still finish the current 12 months. |
The same article mentions a Houzz Pro Flex plan for people who signed up in the iPhone or Android app. Those are cancelled through Apple or Google. The pricing page does not list the Flex plan, so check its terms in the app before you pick it.
One more thing. The help article says your Pro Services Agreement sets your cost, your term and when you can cancel. Read it before the trial ends, not after.
Put your renewal date in your calendar the day you sign. The 30-day notice window is easy to miss.
What does Houzz Pro advertising cost?
The Advertising package starts at $499 a month, and the exact price is a quote. The pricing page shows "Starting at $499/mo" with a "Get Pricing" button, and its FAQ says to call or book a call to talk about "custom advertising packages."
Houzz says the package helps you "stand out to local, hiring homeowners with targeted ads tailored to your business." Its help article on ad settings describes two placements:
- Pro directory ads, shown in the pro directory section of Houzz.
- Photo stream ads, shown in the photo, discussion and story sections.
Houzz's lead settings article says you can set the project budgets you want ($, $$, $$$ or $$$$), your scope of services (design, construction, installation, repair, sales) and, in some busy metro areas, the location of leads. It says these settings are "available for select pros."
What Houzz does not publish: how many leads you will get, what a lead costs you, or any lead guarantee. We looked on the pricing page and both help articles. So ask sales these questions before you sign:
- What is the full monthly price for my trade and my area?
- Is it on a 12-month contract like the software?
- How many leads did pros like me get last year, and how do you count a lead?
- Can I set my budget levels and service area on my package?
- What happens if the leads are poor? Is there any credit?
A sales call is not a contract. If a lead number matters to you, get it in writing.
What extra costs come with Houzz Pro?
The main extras are more users, advertising and add-ons. Here is what the pricing page shows, checked 12 October 2026:
| Extra | Cost | Who it hits |
|---|---|---|
| Extra users | $50 a user a month | Design and Pro plans (Teams has unlimited users) |
| Advertising package | From $499 a month, quote only | Anyone who wants Houzz leads |
| Add-ons | "Additional charges may apply" | Depends on what you add |
| 3D conversions over the limit | Design and Pro get 5 a month. Teams' fair use limit is 415 a month, and the page says more are available "at no extra charge" if you contact Houzz | Designers who turn lots of products into 3D |
The extra-user price changes the maths fast. Pro with four extra users is $199 plus $200, so $399 a month for five people (our maths). That is the same as the Teams starting price, and Teams has unlimited users plus the marketing tools. If you have five or more people on Pro, ask for a Teams quote.
The pricing page also does not list card processing fees for online payments. If you plan to take payments through Houzz Pro, ask what they are.
Who is each Houzz Pro plan for?
Design suits designers who sell ideas. Pro suits remodelers and builders who run jobs. Teams suits firms with several people. Here is how we would pick:
| You are | Plan to look at | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Just looking, or only need estimates and invoices | Free plan | Floor planner, estimates and invoicing at $0 |
| An interior designer working alone | Design, $99 | Mood boards, selections, 3D floor plans and a CRM |
| A remodeler or builder running jobs | Pro, $199 | Takeoffs, bids, change orders, contracts, schedules and daily logs |
| A firm with about five or more people | Teams, from $399 | Unlimited users costs about the same as Pro plus four extra seats |
| A pro who wants work from Houzz itself | Advertising, from $499 | Ads in the pro directory and photo pages, on top of a plan |
Is Houzz Pro worth it?
The software can be worth it if you use it every week. The advertising is harder to judge, because Houzz does not publish lead numbers or a price per lead.
Start with the software. If Pro replaces a separate estimating tool, a scheduling tool and a pile of spreadsheets, $199 a month can be fair. If you would only use invoices, it is not. The free plan or your accounting software may do that job.
Then judge advertising on one number: what each won job costs you. Take the yearly ad spend, divide it by the jobs you won from Houzz leads, and compare that with your profit on a job. Do not count leads. Count signed jobs. We use the same test in our Angi leads review and our look at whether Thumbtack is worth it.
This will not suit you if you cannot commit for a year. A 12-month contract is a long time to find out something does not fit. Use the 30-day trial hard, and decide before it ends.
Do not count leads. Count signed jobs, then divide your yearly spend by them.
How does Houzz Pro compare with other ways to get jobs?
Houzz Pro advertising is a monthly package on top of software, while Angi, Thumbtack and Google Local Services Ads charge per lead. Your own website and follow-up cost time or a team, but you own every lead.
| Option | How you pay | What to watch |
|---|---|---|
| Houzz Pro advertising | A monthly package from $499, on top of a plan | No published lead numbers. Ask about the contract |
| Angi | Per lead | Each request can go to up to five pros, and you pay win or lose |
| Thumbtack | Per lead, when a customer contacts you | A customer can contact up to five pros in the first four hours |
| Google Local Services Ads | Per lead | Some missed calls are now billable |
| Your own site, search and follow-up | Your time, or a team you pay | Slower to start, but the leads and the customer list are yours |
Whichever you use, speed wins jobs. Houzz leads, Angi leads and calls from your own site all go cold fast. If you miss calls on the job, an answering service for contractors or missed call text back catches them before the next pro does.
Where does Havstock fit, and where does it not?
Havstock is not project software, so if you need estimates, schedules and change orders, buy a tool like Houzz Pro, not us. That is the honest answer for most solo designers and small remodelers.
Where we fit is the marketing side. Houzz Teams includes a custom website, email marketing and a premium profile. Those are tools, and someone still has to write the pages, run the ads and follow up every lead. If you want that done for you, see our marketing for contractors. Havstock Unlimited is $4,995 a month with no setup fee and no contract, so it suits a business that already spends on marketing and wants it handled. If that is you, see how Havstock Unlimited works. If not, Houzz Pro's own tools may be plenty.
FAQ
How much is Houzz Pro a month?
Houzz Pro costs $99 a month for Design, $199 a month for Pro and from $399 a month for Teams, on Houzz's US pricing page checked 12 October 2026. Extra users on Design and Pro are $50 each a month. Advertising starts at $499 a month on top. There is also a free plan with basic tools.
Does Houzz Pro have a free trial?
Yes. Houzz Pro offers a 30-day free trial of its paid plans. Houzz's FAQ says you can cancel during the trial, before your annual subscription begins at the end of it. If you forget, there is a 7-day grace period where you pay one month and skip the rest of the year.
Can I cancel Houzz Pro anytime?
Not on most plans. Houzz's help center says most plans are annual 12-month contracts and you cannot cancel early. To stop it renewing, send a do-not-auto-renew request at least 30 days before your renewal date. You still finish the current contract. Plans bought in the iPhone or Android app are cancelled through Apple or Google.
How much does Houzz Pro advertising cost?
The Advertising package starts at $499 a month, and Houzz gives the exact price as a quote. It adds pro directory ads and photo stream ads. Houzz does not publish how many leads you get or a price per lead, so ask sales for both, and the contract length, in writing before you sign.
How many users does Houzz Pro include?
Design and Pro include one user each, and extra users cost $50 a user a month. Teams includes unlimited users from $399 a month. By our maths, Pro plus four extra users is $399 a month, the same as the Teams starting price, so a team of five or more should ask for a Teams quote.
Is Houzz Pro worth it for interior designers?
It can be, if you use the design tools every week. The $99 Design plan covers mood boards, selections, 3D floor plans, a CRM, proposals and invoices for one user. Remember it is usually a 12-month contract, about $1,188 a year. Try the free plan or the 30-day trial before you commit.
That is Houzz Pro pricing in plain numbers: $99, $199 or from $399 a month, advertising from $499, and usually a 12-month contract. Work out the yearly cost, use the trial properly, and judge any advertising on what each signed job costs you.
